　イマジナリー・フレンズ・スタジオズ　（以下IFS）は、スタンレー・ロー、ケンドリック・リムとリム・リー・カイの三人が設立したデジタルイラストの製作とコンセプトアートの立案を行うスタジオであり、“アーティストのためのアーティストによる”という精神に基づいて設立されたものである。
　2005年より、IFSは世界各地のエンターテイメント業界及び広告業界など、多岐にわたるクライアントに作品を提供している。
　また、IFSはインドネシア・フランス・マレーシア・フィリピン・シンガポールやタイなどから多才なアーティストを集め、彼が持つ独特の表現力を生かし、アートとエンターテイメントの世界に進出を果たしている。
　尚、IFSの仕事は、漫画やゲームのイラスト製作からアニメ・映画のコンセプトアートの製作にいたるまで多岐に及んでいる。
　スタンレーにとって、IFSのビジョンを日本で紹介するのは、このアジアグラフ2008が初めてであった。スタンレーは、数々の印象的なポートフォリオを用いてIFSの特長をについて語った。会場では観客から多くの興味深い質問がなされたが、それらに答えることで、スタンレーは、アートスタジオの経営における挑戦や課題についての考えを深く観客と分かち会うことができたと確信している。

　気さくでユーモラスなプレゼンテーションを通じて、スタンレーはアートに対する熱意とプロフェッショナルな姿勢を観客に印象づけた。観客の多くは、スタンレープレゼンテーションによって大いに触発されたことだと思われる。

Founded by Stanley Lau, Kendrick Lim and Lim Ri Kai, Imaginary Friends Studios (IFS) is a digital illustrations and concept art studio that is truly built by artists for artists.  Since 2005, IFS served a variety of clients from around the world ranging from the entertainment to the advertising industries.  The studio attracts many multi-talented artists from France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, to band together and bring their skills to the world of art and entertainment.  Some of the services provided by IFS range from comics and games illustrations to conceptualization of animations and movies.

At Asiagraph 2008, Stanley introduced the vision of IFS to the Japanese audience for the very first time.  Using an impressive and diverse studio portfolio, Stanley explained characteristics that made IFS unique and different from other art studios.  He received many interesting questions from the audience, and gave in depth insights into the challenges and obstacles he faced while running an art studio.  With his frank and humorous presentation, Stanley clearly showed his passion and professional attitude towards art.  The presentation left the audience feeling inspired.
